9. Nightlife - Rob Thurman I really liked the beginning and the end was satisfying. However, I almost gave up on it about halfway through it. I liked the main characters of the story quite a bit but I thought that a few of the major supporting characters could use a little more 'fleshing out'. The middle was a little rough and didn't exactly flow

I definitely think it's worth a read. Just warning about the middle since I was tempted to stop reading it about halfway in.

I've heard this was Thurman's first book. The series is bound to get better.
