28. The Court of the Air by Stephen Hunt I've been trying to read this book for over a week. I finally gave up 150 pages in. As the story picked up, I just really didn't care.

27. Gil's All Fright Diner by A. Lee Martinez This was a campy, fun, and quick read. The main characters are a werewolf named Duke, who was a trucker before the change, and a vampire named Earl with a bad comb-over and likes to wear overalls. 25. Soulless by Gail Carriger I enjoyed this one quite a bit but I'm quite aware it's sorta fluff. Werewolves, vampires, scientists and a preternatural in Victorian London. Good fun. I'll be reading the next shortly. **** stars
