Oh boy, Monroe somehow I don't think telling Mrs. Clarke that the detective who saved her daughter is actually sort of 'monster' that under ordinary circumstances would be hunting her down like an animal was the best idea. I really hope you're able to make her understand that Nick's is most definitely NOT like that.
