Today begins Day One of three days of job interviews. I have another interview with the DESC today at one, an interview with a trucking company for an admin assistant position tomorrow, and an interview at Fred Meyer for a cashier Wednesday. I'm tired of ironing my fancy interview clothes and trying to find places to which I've never been before

Don't forget to check if the projects you are interested in actually can help with your long-term goals (my research has nothing to do with already made stuff/sports equipment, but I couldn't find any other adviser to take me on).

Yeah, I'm gradually working my way into examining what each of the faculty I'm interested in working with does in more detail. I'm trying to first narrow it down, and then at some point I want to read at least one article published by each faculty member I'm interested in so then when I contact them I'll at least have something to talk about with them, and it'll give me a better idea of what their areas of focus are. Of course, this means I'm going to have to read like 30 articles, so I better get started. -_-
