Some lovey pictures there. I'm sorry to hear about the travel issues, but I totally understand. I gave up on the idea of flying in 2008 - 32 hours in the car is preferable for me, and I won't do that anytime soon either. Broken sucks when it keeps you from things you want to do (like Readercon for me, last year especially).

I have seen three red winged blackbirds at my feeders and two types of hummingbirds in my yard so far this year. Plus the usual suspects that winter over, only more of them. The robins have been back for over a month.

It's very soft. I think I've been living in it the past few months. The hood is kind of small, but the only time I've ever worn it up was in that awful wind.
