No comments, then why am I doing this? Though, please. No overly contentious comments with big words and needlessly complex syntax. They make my head hurt, and I need all this grey matter to make the happy words come bubbling out

A number of my books have kitten-teeth dents: Mooncat (the eldest of my current three) was terrible for chewing things when she was a kitten. The other two never did. I have no idea why, but some of them just have to chew paper. (She also shreds wrapping paper, newspaper and tissues any chance she gets. I hope JSN does not do this as well.)
Mostly, he chews cardboard boxes, if he's not chewing a toy. He also likes toilet paper tubes. Major teething going on, as his adult teeth are coming in. Hopefully, the need to chew will slow down.
It could be worse; it dawned on me today that it would've been possible to do emoticons in telegrams. I'm glad that didn't happen.
Something nicer Internet-related: have you seen today's xkcd strip "Click and Drag"? Do you have 20 minutes to explore that panel? (Seriously, it's a rabbit hole of a strip, but one that made me howl more than once.)
Didn't get a chance to post the other day, but I enjoyed the descriptions of the rodentia riding the rails in Alabaster: Boxcar Tails and Leiber's teaser sketch. It will be interesting to see what he does with your descriptions. Also love that the bird is narrating.
It's gonna be tricksy, making it work.
I'm heading to my local comic shop tomorrow and will preorder the trade for Alabaster: Wolves.
Thank you!
What is it about China that has preserved such a good chunk of the fossil record?
Much of it is coming from one Cretaceous formation with exquisitely preserved specimens. It's nothing special about China, per se.
