Anyway, I just saw an author who ought to know better reduce Gabriel Garcia Márquez' Memories of My Melancholy Whores (Memoria de mis putts tristes, 2004) to ( Read more... )

Though, I suppose I could insert the whole short story, and then proceed to the script excerpt, and then include the black-and-while pencils from the production stage of the comic.

That would be most excellent.

I've already started pointing people to the Alabaster:Wolves hardback because it is exactly what we need more of in comics.

Hope your final semi-vacation day is at least semi-enjoyable.

Totally makes sense to write a review/opinion on not having read the book and on other people's description of the novel. Man, I should've thought of that before; the number of books I've reviewed on Goodreads.com would go through the roof!

Jeez. So I guess "Cien anos de soledad" can be described as simply "another novel tenderly depicting incest?"

I love the term "triggerpunk" by the way. Hadn't noticed you using it before.

Alabaster collected stories on kindle? ext_852593 September 5 2012, 02:45:24 UTC
Do you happen to know why the ebook edition of your collected Dancy stories is no longer available for the kindle? Was it an unauthorized publication? It's on my wishlist, taunting me.

Thank you,

James
