If it's any use, Alabaster:Wolves is bowtie. I love that dark-green colour scheme. Some of it is really funny ("Your grammar is atrocious" is a fabulous line, and I hope we see more of the unhelpful blackbird). The art does you justice; and Dancy surprised me. [I know this is a "new" Dancy, to some degree--but it's still tricky to do an initiating event and also slip enough in to introduce a past, present, and future...]
Plenty of otherwise talented writers fall apart when they have to balance a new comic about an old character, especially one who is also new to comics. I guess the circumlocution would be "relaunching a new character." How do you start over with someone who doesn't exist?
To be able to do that with only three or four characters in a closed environment without everyone sounding like they're care-full-y overexplaining everything? Only CRK. Such a great start!
