Hi Aunt B. I've got The Drowning Girl on pre-order. I've had to pass on Confessions sadly; it looks like my job's up Shit Creek and I'll have to rein in my book-buying for a while. I'm going to keep supporting SD for as long as I can, though.

Glad Mithrien's working okay for you. I'd be interested to hear your opinions on The Tempest. Still haven't seen it yet.

I'm looking forward to your thoughts on "The Tempest" as well. I've heard good things, but haven't had the chance to see it either.

Thank you all around, and don't feel bad. Even writers can't afford books these days.

Today I finished "Here Is No Why"...

That made me break out in the hugest grin - that is one of my all-time favorite songs, and all-time favorite albums.

Same here. That album, when I was in the band, we played a lot of the stuff from it at rehearsal.

That's so cool. Was there a song of theirs you liked playing best?

"Shelter" and Free Comic Book Day. I will have to keep an eye out for this.

Completely unrelated to anything in your post, I came across an article on flying squid and felt it might interest you.
