Yesterday, the temperature climbed near 60˚F here in Providence. Today, we'll be lucky to reach 44˚F. Presently, it's mostly cloudy and 43˚F (36˚F if you factor in the windchill). I noted that in Atlanta the temperature is currently 68˚F, and, yet, I'm still glad not to be there. I have rarely lived anywhere so bereft of a "soul" as is Atlanta. By ( Read more... )

Speaking of shirts, there was supposed to have been a matter of a few fish and lady bones which were intended for belated cephalopodmas gifting... Has that arrived?

How does one move things from LJ to dreamwidth? I was able to PDF a copy of my other LJ account; but this account is apparently too cumbersome. Are you using a special application or just doing it by hand?

There is, in fact, an import feature under settings. Just be advised it can take up to 24 hours or longer.

And now my brain is playing the Donnie Darko version on repeat...

If you're a fan of my work and you're missing the digest, you're missing a lot more than weird erotica. You're missing some of my best writing.

Damn skippy. The Digest is one of my favorite things. I'm re-reading Ammonite Violin to get me pumped up for The Drowning Girl and I can honestly say that ending the collection with "The Madam of the Narrow Houses" was a wonderful punctuation. I've re-read the story probably a dozen times and its pace, colour, and quietness is really astounding.

Having recently migrated over to DreamWidth myself, reading your journal here was one of the only reasons I still bother to log in on LJ anymore. Once you officially move there I'll read your journal there exclusively.

Good luck on the auctions!
