The trailer is beautiful (I don't even need to see all of it to know this, but of course I am twitching with anticipation) and huzzah for the offer, hope it's what you want or can be negotiated thus.

Every time I walk past a "paranormal romance" display in a bookstore, it makes me want Blood Oranges a little more. I want to see you eviscerate that shit, and I hope that Roc bids well.

And that trailer is gorgeous. It's somehow managed to make me even more excited for the book than I was before, which is no mean feat.

Very bow tie and teasery (I think that should be a word, really). I've seen trailers for Hollywood films that haven't been so intriguing and atmospheric. Time to send my stepson some money and get him to preorder The Drowning Girl: A Memoir. You could, I suppose, do an REM and File Under Water.
