My eldest daughter, 26, has same issue, but it's her right eye. Hers was not discovered until she was 11. Interesting how the body adapts, yes? She passed her driver's test once and is a careful enough driver that I never worried about her driving with her younger siblings; but, she let her license lapse (silly girl!) and she's having a hell of a time even passing the eye test to get a new one. She may have to give up driving sooner than later.
