Yes, weird, wet weather. And here we all are, in the aftermath of this somewhat unusual nor'easter. We're lucky; we didn't lose power, though a lot of Rhode Island did (~20,000 as of 7 ayem this morning; power is being restored). I'll tell you - re: Kate - that "Wild Man" isn't wholly indicative of the overall sound of the album (this from my friend the Mastering Engineer), but after repeat airings I think I like the lyrics more than the music in this particular case. I applaud her empathy for the Yeti.

It sounds like Occupy RI is bigger than the one in Brum - half a dozen tents at best. All the attention's on St Pauls at the moment; so far, we've been lucky and escaped police brutality. Gods willing, it'll stay that way.

and now I want to see the human body drawn with lines of both, mathematically precise, that any point on any given body can be pinpointed. All is need is for a model (who will model nude of course), a geographer, and a mathematician to volunteer.

The first thought that flitted through my head was the scene in the first Resident Evil movie, involving an encounter between a set of horizontal and vertical lasers moving down a corridor and the gun-toter unlucky enough to be in the corridor at the time...
