It was so deep and dark and ultimately satisfying.

Yes!

Glad to hear you both have cooled! I've been on a recent rampage of buying back issues to Sirenia Digest and I must say for the record that I feel like this is an exceptionally good way to directly support CRK. I like knowing the $ goes straight to you and Spooky and it satisfies my compulsive nature to be able to check another unread CRK work off my list :) So to all the other "hardcores" out there PLEASE consider doing this as a show of support.

Of course. I know I'm not the 1st to do it but I just thought I'd urge other readers to do the same. I recently nabbed back issue #46: "Charcloth, Firesteel, and Flint" & "Shipwrecks Above" & I must say they are 2 of my new faves, especially "Shipwrecks Above" which is really wicked, it truly has what it takes to expand into a lovely novella! I also re-read "Eisoptrophobia - A Sketch" and would love to see that one morph into a full blown short piece. Your body of work from the Digest is truly mind-blowing and I'm so glad to see they're being collected. Needless to say I'm eagerly awaiting Confessions of a Five-Chambered Heart with its 25 tale TOC!! Hopefully it'll come with a cool chapbook like Ammonite Violin.

Thank you! And yep, there will certainly be a chapbook. The Yellow Alphabet.

Happy to hear that your day of misadventure ended reasonably well. I'd love to snag Rift, but meatspace is requiring too much of my time these days, between wrestling with the chaos of my living space and filling my brain with knowledge required for my day-job.

Ah, well.

I hope you find a reprieve from the heat soon. Heat stroke and dehydration are scary, scary things.

Well, so long as we stay inside, we essentially have.

medium-size screen, but at least it was flat

Word. 3D kills my brain, so I havent been going to many movies of late, when my sister and I saw HP 7.2 it was flat screen. We will go again to see more details though.

I'm just about convinced that 3-D is on it's way out. Looking at summer movies, very significant numbers of movie-goers (30-40%) are choosing flatscreen, and with box-office numbers at (or near) an all-time low, theatres can't afford to keep up the expensive 3-D crap. Also, studies are showing it's very bad for the eyes of children.

I wish it would go away, it hurts.

Being blind in one eye, I can't see it. Plus, 10% of all humans can't perceive 3-D in films, anyway.
