Fucking cold out there. Right now, the mercury's at 21F, and we're only supposed to reach 27F today, with more snow tonight. But I am in New England, and it is January. Which brings me to this, courtesy JaNell Golden, an image which greatly amuses me:

Great card! Send it to the Weather Channel.

I notice the long-lasting snow has created masses of pointy icicles. There's a row hanging over the studio window that makes it look like I'm staring out from a mouth.

Cleaning snow off large vehicles sucks. Just stating the obvious.

Yep. Lots of icicles on the eaves and gutters here.

Cleaning snow off large vehicles sucks.

A Black Dahlia connection? I am SO intrigued. And I must inform my Dahlia-obsessed best friend. I think you just got yet another reader.

That card was wonderful! I could've used a few of those as post cards last month.

Winter is almost over for us now. We just have the horrid part with mush and grey leftovers from pollution and salt left. Not to mention the cold moisture that hangs in the air and coats everything when you go out. Not my favorite part of winter.

I'm glad to hear that you go out more. I hope the good stretch continues.
