i saw NIN live during a severe weather warning once. outside venue.

and behind him, a funnel cloud formed. it was like God was doing the light show. the sky cracked open, the rain drenched everyone, and tops came off.

it was a beautiful moment.

How funny. I almost mentioned this one when I babbled about weird fiction and videos. I think the reason this is so weird is that Trent has a very distinct persona and he tossed it over the edge to run around with a sword. As such, it ends up telling an impossible story.

Now there's a strange relic of my teenage years I haven't thought of in a long time. I remember listening to that a lot. I didn't remember the video so well, because that's around the time I stopped watching MTV.
