Yesterday, I wrote 1,142 words on the Frazetta vignette, which I am calling simply "Tempest Witch." I do know now, thanks to Steven Lubold, that the Frazetta painting in question first appeared as the cover of issue #7 of Eerie magazine back January 1967*. I would have been three years old. I'm so glad I can finally subscribe. I think the idea of the digest is genius for providing an income for you between novels. I love that the subscription fees go straight to you without a publishing house taking a giant bite out of it. Also, glad to do my part to placate the space pirates.
