1. Yesterday, I began the second piece for Sirenia Digest #51, and wrote 1,011 words. I think I'm liking it. It was inspired by something I saw at Beavertail on Sunday. Also, Vince is working on an illustration for "The Eighth Veil," so the issue is coming together, and should be out before the end of February ( Read more... )

The line-up for the anthology sounds terrific. Is your story from the batch of work about a Colorado town you've been accumulating?

Yep. It's the first of the Cherry Creek stories. I've written only four so far (since June 2007), but plan for their to be ten, eventually.

Might we also see a steampunk novel from you some future day? You've certainly got the creative chops for it.

Thanks for that laugh. I looked up the title on Amazon and now I am weeping. The author has written multiple disasters? Prrghaht.

I mean what the fuck, succubi don't strut around in human form waiting to fuck. They STEAL SOULS. I demand RULES in my damned paranormal universes. What am old Luddite.

Banishing the samples I read requires plenty of wine. I won't send you the bill.

(warning: I was sort of fixated on seaweed that day)

Yes, well, I'm sort of fixated on seaweed permanently, so I think they're lovely photographs. Also the starfish and Spooky watching the ducks.

If I ever sink so low as to write a paranormal romance novel titled Succubi Like It Hot, someone please gut me slowly with a dull grapefruit spoon. Thank you.

My eyes!
