J. G. Ballard died yesterday. I wrote 1,098 words on a new story, which I'm calling "At the Gate of Deeper Slumber." It's the piece I've been trying to get into for about a week and a half now. I think this is going to be an especially Lovecraftian issue of

I do know, with any harrassment of any kind, that everyone around you should be aware that there is some sort of threat to you. Friends, family, trusted neighbors etc. Anyone who can help look out for you. Good luck with the whole situation.

I felt as horrible learning Ballard had died as I did when Vonnegut died.
Yeah, it hit me pretty much the same way as the news of Vonnegut's death.
