"After the fire, the fire still burns..."

Home again, home again. Back to the scorch. Yes, the heat continues here in Providence, and likely that means this will be a somewhat meandersome, unfocused entry. Last night, at midnight, the thermostat inside was still at 87F, though it was in the mid seventies Outside. We expect some relief tomorrow, then cooler weather; the meteorologists say ( Read more... )

'Others seemed to agree with you.'

Because this is fact.

(2) All living things must die.

I know this is an odd compliment, but you have very nice hands!

I've never been to a con of any sort. I'd like to go--but I'm afraid of seeing boatloads of Things I Must Have and spending too much money on things...

Ecch. Sorry your air conditioning does not seem to be working. When the AC breaks and Southern heat and humidity fill the house, I usually find myself in the hallway on the stairs, since that is the only place where any relief can be found from the heat. It doesn't aid higher cognitive function, that's for sure.

Thank you for the Whedon link, I was unaware and this brings me great happiness!

I hope the odd convention will not only help you keep in touch with old friends and fellow writers but also allow you to expand your readership. I don't know much about how cons can help writers but I assume the exposure alone must do some good.

The other day I pre-ordered a trade copy of A is for Alien. My housemate dlemoine has told me that your sci-fi is wonderful and should not be missed.
