Nothing remains, we could run when the rain slows...

Nothing written yesterday. Well, almost nothing. I did write the title to the prologue, which will be "The Locksmith of Elfland's Daughter," so that's five words. Go me. I sat here, and sat here, and sat here, and I got five words and some vague ideas. Four or five hours of sitting here, and that's what I got. Last night, I started reading Stephen ( Read more... )

What on earth, or off it, is 'a true s'e_xual giant'? How do you even pronounce 's'e_xual'? Is that Juǀʼhoan or something?

"Long and stiff magic love stick" sounds as if it could be:

a. A Harry Potter Fanfic title
b. Japanese candy
c. A product sold on an infomercial
d. All of the above

longandstiffmagiclovestick.com is available to register - perhaps you could satisfy Spooky's want in URL form.

I passively remain on CPT - CellPhoneTime. It's whatever time the cellphone says it is. That's partially a reaction to an extended trip down I-65 during the time change a few years back (it zigzags between zones) and my state's attempt to distract us from taxing us to death by subscribing to DST and getting caught up in arguments over that. We used to not be clock-twiddlers. Apparently only Arizona remains sane.

the rather brilliant idea of conducting the interview in Second Life

That is brilliant. I wonder where it'll take place? I bet the BBC has an area--I typed Warner Brothers in the search one day for no reason at all, and discovered that Warner Brothers has an entire city.

Spooky says she wants a "long and stiff magic love stick." Verily, I am doom'd.

I have one and it's HUGE.

. . . or maybe that's something else . . .

Kudos on the Dunsany reference! That's an excellent title to kick things off with, and remember, even Joyce would sometimes take a whole day to come up with the perfect five words. You're in good company.
