This morning I feel at least twenty years my senior. As if I slipped through some wrinkle in time somewhere in my sleep, and my face in the mirror reassures me that I must have slipped back again, but maybe this is the sort of hangover one gets from time-traveling in one's sleep ( Read more... )

Don't you just love Jubel Early in Objects in Space, with his existential angst? One of the best "guest stars" on the series.

"Objects in Space" is my favorite episode, well in strong comeptition with 2 or 3 others. I love Jubal and the way the actor works and some really great development with River. You can really see some of the setup for having the crew bonding so they will keep River on board, plus setting the stage for them to discuss and explore Rivers potential.

And the scense of Jayne sleeping really amuse me.

I picked up my copy of 'Alabaster' this afternoon and just wanted to let you know what a beautiful looking book I think it is. With luck, work will be quite and I can make a start on reading it tonight (since it just leap-frogged 3 other books to get to top of the 'to read' pile).

Thank you for sharing your stories and your thoughts. Would you mind if I added you to my friends list?

a bunch of interchangeable, blandly pretty people.

I think the studios are aiming for such a low denominator that they're afraid of putting realistic people in movies, lest the audience begin clawing at the screen trying to free them.

Please, tell me it tanked at the box office.

Not as much as it deserved.

Not to be a pain, I can see the ugly and the mundane any day, but I do wish hollywood would offer something in the way of the unique and new.

Only a small commet: I've just got Alabaster. I didn't expect it to arrive so soon (I live in Spain).

Mind if I add you to my friends list?
