Sunny today. The National Weather Service says we'll go to 82˚F; it's currently 79˚F.

I haven't been "well" these past few days. Toady, I try to get back to work. I have this short story to write, so I can say that I at least wrote two this summer. I doubt I've had a summer this unproductive since 1998. Sure, I had my reasons then, too ( Read more... )

Thanks for the news about the Agents preorder - I just made mine, and was delighted to see that the Salton Sea will feature, since I've been interested in it recently. I can't wait to see the cover.

I enjoyed how soft & pearly the photo was.

Amazon is taking taking orders for Agents of Dreamland, which Tor releases on February 28th. The cover isn't up yet, but I have seen the cover, and it's excellent. Perfect in tone, superbly understated.

Thank you, for this notice. I have been eagerly awaiting the news since the preview in Sirenia Digest.

I remember a Dilbert cartoon where the Devil appears, and offers him either, lavish pay, and fame for mediocre work, or everyday he produces outstanding work, but he would be poorly paid, and die unknown. Dilbert says, "Great, both of those are better than what I'm getting now."
