"Seven times I went down. Six times I walked back."

Whatever this entry was going to be, well, we'll never know. I overslept, and then there was unexpected chaos, and then two days worth of backed-up email. I feel like I don't have time for much of anything. A quick weather report? Yeah, I can manage that. When I awoke, it was 39˚F with a windchill 28˚F. On April 9th. Sorry about the crown issues. I find mine weird enough & it's pretty much okay.

First winter didn't want to end & now spring is hiding. I'm tired of the gloom too. I'm not a fan of humidity but I'd like to see the sun.

I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to speak out re: my feelings on the Hugo mess, the SJW vs. "Sad Puppies" debacle. Likely, no one will like what I have to say, and it's probably best I keep my mouth shut.

And now I'm curious.

I didn't know anything about it until I saw George R.R. Martin has written more about it in his Live Journal overnight than I've ever seen him write about anything else. Mostly it's a depressing reminder for me how much stock people place in popularity contests.

Way back when, I think you were considering the inclusion of Untitled 17 in Two Worlds and In Between, but the piece had a different title. I know this is out of left field, but I wondered if the "new" title would be in the forthcoming best-of collection, or if it will keep its untitled title.
Either way, I'm truly looking forward to the collection.
