Boston is four inches away from breaking from its all-time record for snowfall in a single winter, apparently. Well, good for it.

We're having similar weather in southern NY - Staten Island, NY, to be precise. This morning I went to take out the recycling and was confronted by a solid sheet of ice extending from the sidewalk in front of my apartment, and covering the entire parking lot. Lovely! Someone came with a snow-blower and got the ice off the sidewalk, and the higher temps did the rest. It was around 40* today, but it's supposed to get cold tonight.
Soon enough we'll be complaining about rain and mud and flooding.
