"[I]gnorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge; it is those who know little, and not those who know much, who so positively assert that this or that problem will never be solved by science." ~ Charles Darwin

Also, my new favorite band name is Holly Golightly and the Brokeoffs
I actually have two of her solo albums--and I checked, it is the same Holly Golightly. I haven't listened to her in a really long time, possibly because I haven't moved her to my hard drive, but she's good. She tends to be on soundtracks to Jim Jarmusch movies.
I ran into another Holly Golightly at Comic Con, I think she was an artist.

I wonder if the Holly from comic con is the one who is married to Jim Balant who draws Tarot of the Black Rose. She lives in the Pocono Mountains of Pennslyvania so she was a long way from home if it was her. I appeared in the 3rd and 6th issues of Tarot cause my late cousin had a diner in that mountain area and they came in to eat. This was in the early 2000s.
And there's still this: "Humble Subterranean Press Bundle." Now, you guys know how I feel about ebooks.
I had gotten the SubPress Humble Bundle the other day for my husband, although I have to admit I almost felt ashamed afterwards (because of the ebook aspect). Scrabble, West Wing, and the convergence sounds like a fine night, thanks for the photo.
For what its worth I loved the Quinn novels and I look forward to Cherry Bomb. I went to Phoenix last week eager to buy the book at Barnes and Noble but they didn't have it. (They weren't sold out they never got it)I will just end up getting it from Amazon I guess - I love going into a bookstore to get a book but a lot of what I want is no longer carried there. I have been talking to friends lately about how its bittersweet nostalgia to think about going into a store and buying what you want instead of getting off the net. (we are all mid to late 40s in age) They all live in San Francisco area and a lot of little stores are gone. I seriously think I'm gonna relocate to Portland and not to northern Cali.
Sometime last year, though I'm not certain of exactly when, I was surprised to find The Ape's Wife available as an e-book and couldn't resist buying it even though I had already purchased the hardback limited edition. So getting my Aunt Beast fix in all formats is A Thing I Do.

I am grateful for your shame.

That is a beautiful sentence. I will wear my shame like a badge of honor; may it compel Greg to read something different for once.
