David Lamb of Brown Bird died. We got the news yesterday evening. He'd been seriously ill since last spring. The band brought Kathryn and I enormous joy. Glad to hear you are almost done, assuming there's not gonna be too much copyediting, revising etc. I got the impression there wasn't too much of this "post-production" work on the previous two books, so I imagine this one will be similar.

I love their music so much. I listen to it daily, I use it in my classes, and have directed so many people to discover it too. It's so hard to believe that he didn't make it.
