Thanks for sharing your thoughts on True Detective. This was probably the first show in awhile I really got into, so much so that I was trawling the internet for the most remote theories just to get enough weird to make it through the week to the next episode.

I completely agree that its more of a long movie and is probably better in one sitting, though what I got out of watching it in real time (which I could only do thanks to torrents) was a very strong sense of dread that really stuck with me in my waking life until I watched the finale. Hadn't felt that way about show in a long time.
