I have most of my birds back for Spring, including my Mourning Doves. Yesterday I saw a pair of crows harassing the RedTailed Hawk in the sky.

I adore the bright Gold Goldfinches..

Some days I just sit outside and watch my bird feeders.

I am so with you about True Detective. I've been raving for days after my husband and I finally got through them all on our DVR. Some of the best TV ever, so glad we stumbled onto it.

So, here you have the final, unremarkable, and pointless installment. Don't eat it all at once or spend it all in one place.

It's a good farewell photo, as far as farewells of ongoing Hell go. Nice setting light. Brighter kinds couldn't hurt one of these days, New England.

rushthatspeaks has been telling me about True Detective; everything I've heard so far confirms that I want to see it. They did show me the opening credits, which were breathtaking. I'll take your recommendation as further reason.

It's on HBO "on demand" until 11:59pm on Monday, so if you can manage to see it that way, I suggest you do so fast.
