Years and years and years of working with the public -- being coughed on, sneezed at, handling all manner of germy materials, etc. -- have built up my immune system. I'd be dead otherwise.

Likely mine has suffered. Still, fear of illness (and lost days) is a major reason I don't travel much and have pretty much stopped doing conventions.

Anyway, yes, a splendid review. I'll quote from it in a few days.

I am very glad to hear it.

Sleeping is good.

I am very glad to hear it.

It was a huge relief.

And on that note, you know, people justify the use of emoticons and such by saying that without it meaning is unclear when writing online.

I have to admit I get in the habit of using smileys a lot (though autocorrect wants me to say I use amulets. Funny, autocorrect just tried to change "autocorrect" to "incorrect") in Second Life. There seems to be a connexion between using a female avatar and guys especially assuming I'm angry.

Sadly, his golden years were the eighties, when he directed Back to the Future (1985), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988),

I've long suspected Spielberg flexed a lot more creative input over those films than is normal for a producer. Particularly Back to the Future which has a lot of efficiently layered visual data so distinctive of Spielberg. The scene where Micheal J. Fox saves Crispin Glover from getting hit by a car is so Spielberg.

Do you take that sentence at face value, interpret it literally? Or am I being sarcastic? Should I explain which to be sure I'm understood? If I don't explain am I to be blamed when someone misinterprets?

Those are the exact same questions I find myself asking with most of my daily social interactions, leading to the days that I am 100% in favor of minimal social contact.
