SERIES FNARG HAS BEEN PRETTY GREAT, I AGREE.

Yeah, I was cautiously optimist but dubious about Matt Smith, and then the episode started and I LOVED HIM ALREADY. I don't even know what happened. He has a really great voice, too, or maybe it's his lines deliveries, not sure, but I love something about the way he talks.

SERIES FNARG FTW.

The first time I saw him flailing around in an interview, I thought he was going to be A-OK, but he's just...great. HE'S SO GREAT. I love how he very intellectual he is, but meanwhile runs into trees and stuff. SO GREAT.

THIS ALL THIS.

Eleven is such an Old Man sometimes; I love him. (Matt Smith is charmingly floppy!) AND AMELIA POND, YES YES YES. How can anyone not absolutely adore her? She's sassy and a bit odd and also fearless. I love her. EVERYONE SHOULD LOVE HER.

He is an Old Man! Matt Smith has one of those sometimes weirdly ageless faces; it almost doesn't register with that me that he's basically only a couple years older than I am.

AMY POND: ALL HAIL OUR NEW SCOTTISH OVERLADY. I love how off-kilter she is, and also she carries pins in her nightie for convenient lock-picking? (And her haaaaaiiirrrr, my goodness.)

SERIES FNARG: EVERYTHING YOU LOVED, WITHOUT THE CREEPING SENSE OF IMPENDING DOOM AND HEARTBREAK.
