I got the apartment! I give the landlord the deposit tomorrow. Huzzah!

So, this weekend has been pretty good so far. In that I haven't been nearly as lethargic as the last few weekends that have flown by in video game haze. Yesterday I went to the grocery store and did a little cleaning. Today I cleaned the kitchen, my bathroom (long overdue, yuck) and took out the trash. I have an office now. With an actual door. And an actual window. My officemate is at the doctor today, and I have the office to myself. I am listening to David Holmes on my headphones and watching the clouds roll over my head.

It's as close as you can get to working outside, without actually being there. I love it.

So I got home late tonight and went through the bills that were due. I wanted to commit hari kari, but instead, I wrote checks and stuffed envelopes and looked for second jobs.
