Monday has arrived once more, so it was back to work. The weekend kind of sucked. I was, in fact, ill for all of it. Nothing serious, just a basic cold. Annoying as hell, but oh well. Performance evaluations are full of crap. I understand why they are there, but the goal of those things is to serve the company's agenda and not the employee's. Any HR drone who tells you otherwise is either deluded or just singing the company line. Yeah, I'm a bit of cynic, but I know better than to bite the hand that feeds me which is why I simply just smile and nod my head through those things.

I don't mind the performance reviews, so much. As long as they aren't done too often, which is just annoying. It's the constant training packets we have to do, which is how they document all the training for FDA review, so it is necessary, just a real bother.
