I made up - well, re-wrote - a song for today:"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas."
That's not true at all!
It's 11 degrees and wet;
We haven't had good snow yet;
The autumn leaves still in the trees won't fall.

"It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas."
Soon that won't feel strange,
And the normalest thing will be
This warmth and greenery

Sometimes I feel like given how these days have been going, it's a good thing when one has to ask that question.

Well, there's still the news, which every day says "Trump appoints another horrifying person to a position of great power." But I didn't want to make this journal only about politics. I should have lots of fodder for my December initiative, at least.
