As to the California thing, I think it's terrible that there is such a dichotomy in the levels of response, but don't forget California is a Democrat safe haven.
I wouldn't blame it so much on his voters as his 'people', so to speak.
I would like to live in a world where the New Orleans icident was just a major fuck up, without any misintentions, and that they've simply learned from their mistakes, but I'd also like to live in a world where our troops weren't involved in an illegal invasion of another country, based purely on 'finishing off family business'.

As to the rest, I hear ya. I'd love to believe that New Orleans was a terrible, terrible fuck up, but the cynic in me rails against it.
Don't even get me started on us helping them finish their family business..... (apologies to all those in the USA who din't vote that sack of crap in.
