Oooh, I'll have to look up those podcasts! I am training for a half marathon and I just wasn't sure how to add miles, since I've never really run distance (I usually play sports and then do gym workouts). Thanks for that info! :o)

the podcasts are by Robert Ullrey and are called C25K (Couch to 5K). the music is okay, some i like some not much. the guy is like 43 and lives in N. California, if that gives you some idea :)some of it is sorta disco-y and i'm not a fan but it's more for movitation--he voice overs and tells ya when to walk, when to run. still trying the get my treadmill settings down so i can keep it up smoothly.
I also have a printout "Hal Higdons 1/2 Marathon Training" which just suggests a 12 week schedule for training leading up to the big day.
