I'm embarassed that "Its A Hard Life For A Pimp" is the best song they could find from a motion picture this year.

i agree is was a good movie...best movie of the year? no way jose. sorry its just not. the acting was good (though some characters were decievingly shallow...yes i said it, shallow. they did an amazing job to cover it up, but they were still shallow). the script was interesting yes, but the slapy ou in the face racism with the self edifying tone is not best picture worthy. the simplicity that is implied about hate and tolerance just doesn't exisit in the real world. but there is always next year right? hey who knows, maybe the academy will finally honor some comedians!.... oh who am i kidding, you have to be a dead or dieing comedian for them to give you anything. and so what if i do crack? huh? huh? I NEED IT MAN!!! I NEEEEEEEEEED IT!.......lol...hows school goin?

school's goooood, i'm still not sure i agree with you on Crash, though. perhaps some of the characts were shallow, but since when do we live in a society void of shallowness? i loved that movie becuase it felt very real, i saw it three times in the theatre, it was capivating and it changed the way I looked at the world, and that my friend is the mark of a good film.
how's school going for you? right now i'm cursing the quarter system for sticking me with fucking finals!!!!!!

HAHA!! yeah it know its early, but hey, its always spring-ish in LA so why not? lol..i'm back in marin right now, but going back tomorrow to hang out w/ people in LA.....i think i'll drink when i get back to drown my sorrows over the academy awards and then go crash into some people so i can feel some human contact...
