Saturday was my frivolous day in New York City. Well, mostly frivolous. I did spend over three hours in the Met. I paid twenty dollars and I sure as hell was going to get my money's worth. I think living in DC I take for granted that our museums are free. But it was fun, definitely. I am particularly fond of small, bejeweled things and decorative

Glad you had fun! You know, I've passed the Nintendo Store several times on my trips into the city to see shows, but I can never go in. =_= Apparently mom and my sister can choose as many stores as they want for us to hit up before we go see the show, but I'm only allowed to pick one. Nice, isn't it?

I totally gotta start reading Hetalia soon. I'm so in love with Matthew thanks to my main RP now, and I gotta see more of him. Alfred too. X3

Awww! Well, maybe someday you will get to come to New York on the same day as me and we can hang out together. I would make sure we got to go to all the places you like.

I finally have started reading the scanlations of the actual comics now. It is pretty damn funny. And my fanart folder for Hetalia is now at 200. Matthew is such a cutie pie, yes!

Italy is adorable. I love his little curl. I want Italy and America to be friends.

It would be so much fun to spend a day in New York with a friend like you! For me, getting to go to Italy would be a dream come true. I would want to see cathedrals and art and ancient architecture (I am such an art history dork). Well, if you ever want an American penpal, just say the word!

I wish I could afford to come to Italy, but I am poor. I think penpal and pen-friend are the same thing... Where you write actually, non-e mail to each other? I have so much stationary, and nobody to write to.

I like dorky America. I dunno why but it makes me sad to think of people hating him. He isn't perfect, but... but... Is this what you would call patriotism? And mochimerica is so cute!

I wish I had friends to go to the museums with. All the Smithsonian ones are indeed free. The frappe was delicious! So creamy!

Maybe something like that...I mean, he's definitely not my favorite character! But he's so silly and dopey and he's a character type I really like so I can't hate him..

I dunno if I'd say he's my favorite. It's more like, I feel like as an American I sort of have some degree of responsibility for him. An obligation. I have difficulty explaining it, but rest assured that it just the sort of nuttiness you'd expect from me. I have to love him in case nobody else does.

I also feel a little self-conscious liking the other countries so much because: 1. Being American I feel like they don't want me to like them. 2. I feel like I don't have the right since I am not from those countries.

My god! I'm deranged, aren't I?
