Saturday was my frivolous day in New York City. Well, mostly frivolous. I did spend over three hours in the Met. I paid twenty dollars and I sure as hell was going to get my money's worth. It would be so much fun to spend a day in New York with a friend like you! For me, getting to go to Italy would be a dream come true. I would want to see cathedrals and art and ancient architecture (I am such an art history dork). Well, if you ever want an American penpal, just say the word!

I wish I had friends to go to the museums with. All the Smithsonian ones are indeed free. The frappe was delicious! So creamy!

I also feel a little self-conscious liking the other countries so much because: 1. Being American I feel like they don't want me to like them. 2. I feel like I don't have the right since I am not from those countries.
