Geez, there are too many great lines in this part to pick from! I laughed out loud -- literally -- several times. The Doctor's dream (especially Jack's response), the guys all giving their opinions on the rings (it was like "Queer Eye for the Alien Guy", LOL!), and Jack's "I feel pretty". So much funny.

Oh, and everyone finding out about the proposal before Rose ... heh. (And I'm sorry, but extra points for Martha's response. She's really not handling this well, is she? LOL.)

But poor Doctor doing such a bad job of proposing, and having to deal with Rose's response. You made my heart clench up there when he thought she was saying no. *sob* (Though psst to the Doctor -- next time try, "Because I love you and I want the whole universe to know it." You might have better results.)

Man, I love this story.

Ahh, she'll work it out. She's learned to hold her own a bit since jumping into Torchwood part-time. After all, she has to work with Owen...

It was a really terrible way to propose, wasn't it? *sigh* Nothing ever goes to plan for our boy, does it? And they discussed marriage in Rainy Day Woman...he wasn't keen. To be fair, Rose is rather confused.

“Oh. Is…is that what the wonderful kissing was about?” He's The Oncoming Storm, yet he's still so unsure of himself...and so overwhelmed with love for her, even if he's total rubbish at expressing it verbally.

And so very, very OCD “They were all so shiny! I couldn’t choose.”

The protective big brother routine was adorable (although, Jimmy has got a point about the whole Mickey-acting-like-her-dad-even-though-they've shagged being a bit odd :)
