Had another meeting with the thoracic surgeon at the U. He recommends surgery (imagine that). I REALLY don't want to have surgery, as there's actually NOT a guarantee it'll fix the problem, and there a 6 week recovery period. And they'd want to do one arm at a time ( Read more... )

Yay! I really hope you don't need surgery.
I don't know what your ratio of time to money is, but one thing I would consider if I had a problem doctors routinely couldn't improve, I would consider fasting.

I've considered it for spiritual reasons, but never as part of a long-term health approach. As my roommates will vouch, I get MEAN when I'm hungry. They claim to feed me in self-defense.:)

I suggest it because your body has strong and well informed opinions about where each molecule in your body should go. Fasting gives the body the time and the freedom to take care of all the things on it's to-do list ( ... )
