Man, I've been tired all day today. That might have something to do with how I woke up and 6:30 yesterday morning (still a bit on European time apparently) and then spent three hours or so pulling up black berries, bittersweet, grape vines and other such bramble-y vine-y things that were threatening to take over the yard. (It was 75 degrees with no ( Read more... )

I am a total loser. This is because I was doing my (practically semi-annual at this point, christ) flist skim, and I saw you post and went "argh, defriending, no!" because I am so lame at lj right now and I seriously have no idea how I still have lj friends because I am basically never around and am rubbish. Anyway. So, yes, my point was, I am happy you have not defriended me, even though you would be like, totally within your rights to do so. :D

Plus! Where are you thinking of ex patting to? I am also considering moving across the pond, although other direction, obviously. *g*

But when you are around I actually talk to you still so, no cutting. :)

Germany or Austria, or more specifically Berlin or Vienna. It's not like a real real plan it's just every time I leave the country I kind of don't want to come back. Despite all the things I love about both those cities though I'm not sure I could deal with actually living in a city, country girl that I am. Where are you thinking of ex-patting to?

Oooh, Berlin's cool, I really enjoyed myself there. Have never been to Vienna, but it's supposed to be really pretty?

I want to go to Austin, because mary_re is there and she sold it to me so ridiculously well when I was there over the summer, damn her. I just need to figure out what I'm going to do when I actually, you know, get there. This whole 'trying to get a job in another country' is harder than it looks. :(

Vienna is wonderful and very pretty, yes (you will see just how pretty when I get to posting my trip pictures). I highly recommend it especially in the spring.

I've never been to Austin but I've only ever heard really good things about it. I totally here you about the whole getting a job in another country thing. It is an obstacle for sure.
