What a gorgeous weekend in every possible way, the company, the weather, the food, the foliage, the high concentration of dreaminess. And then after having a lovely day out today (following Friday and Saturday's lovely days in with folks visiting) I got home to realize that I had new SPN to watch too.

season three is KICKING ASS. robert fricking singer, sera's melodrama, ben's zany madness, now all we need is more singer and we will be ROLLING.

The best thing (or one of the best things) about the ep was that I didn't realize it was Ben Edlund until after I'd watched it and throughout the whole thing I was like "this is so awesome, how is this so awesome?" and then I found out that it was him and was like "oh, of course".

:D I thought about you this weekend when the guitars came out. There were no fiddles though even though the fiddler was here. This is another reason why you NEED to come to camp.

I adore knowing nothing about the eps before watching them. I was impatient and was spoiled for the last half of S1 and most of S2. It's just like you said, watching each new ep with no bias is great. It's how it should be viewed. And this episode? I have not laughed so much at SPN in my life. Boys!

I'm stuffed with Indian food and watching Hard Candy. Which....WOW. So amazingly fucked up. I'm only halfway through but this shit is blowing my mind, for real. It's the opposite of movies like that shitbag Captivity. It's, like, the definition of "subversive".

I haven't seen either of those movies, but I did watch Sunshine last night which was quite good. It's so refreshing when sci-fi is actually really engaging instead of just having potential and never quite getting there.

As much as I'd love to watch SPN tonight instead of tomorrow (or Sat. even) I am very much in need of a night of doing nothing tonight. Plus, it's already almost 7 and I've had a glass of wine. But, yes, sometime for sure with the watching together. At some point this catalog will be done and then I'll be more free. :)
