I makes me happy that I'm not the only one, though I do wonder if that was some sort of stealthy foreshadowing 'cause the way things are going it seems like possessed!Sam could likely be in the cards (and, oh god, the angst that will bring).
I liked Hunted. In fact I've liked everything so far this season even the things that aren't very good. I am so not objective in any way when it comes to SPN. But it makes me happy so I figure it's cool. :D

Frankly, if Sammich isn't possessed at some point I will be very, very surprised. As we've already seen evol!Dean (sort of) in Skin, so it's kind of a demand. :D
Hunted was just so... *flaps hands* I don't know. I'm kind of not sure how I feel about there being an arc, now; last season there was more focus on the episodes by themselves, rather than how they played into the season as a whole and the change to arc-focus is just. Abrupt. I don't think the writers have learned to balance it, yet (though yanno, hope they have the chance to try... :D).
I think we'll see it too, I hope we will. I mean not like I really want him to be possessed, except that I do. But they've been very good at giving us the heartbreaking moments so far and I really can't think of anything more heartbreaking than the look that will be on Dean's face when he's faced with a possessed Sam he thinks he actually has to kill right there. We did get sort of possessed Sam in Asylum, though.
There has been a lot of arc, hasn't there? I don't mind it though. Also, Kripke's said in more than one interview that they are going to keep doing the more standalone type eps and it looks like this week will be one, which I'm really looking forward to.
I thought Padalecki was a little awful in this scene but still, I was kind of afraid what I'd see when he was all blurry behind Dean's back. Drunk was quite a soft option. I liked this episode so much - the moment of awkwardness around 'antiquing' was hilarious.
In conclusion. I think Ackles is a very good actor. And I think Dean is super hot and not overcompensating at all. *slavers*
I KNOW. And then after when he rubs his hand over his face watching Sam on the bed. If Sam ever does go evil he might as well just drive the Impala off a cliff and kill them both (like the Grand Canyon, even, since he wants to see it anyway. omg I just gave myself a bunny for the most heartbreaking fic ever. gah.) 'cause he just won't be able to go on without Sam, or won't want to anyway (god, and that's canon. I'm breaking my own heart. and I sound like a crazy person *snicker*).
There was a little awfulness, yes, but the overall everything was so awesome that I can easily let that go (and it only gets better with repetition I've discovered).
He really really is, and I'm not even biased 'cause of the pretty. I swear. :)

Oh, like that moment in season 1 when he lets something slip and Sam is like "You watch Oprah?!" and Dean is visibly, yet silently kicking himself for that. AHAHA the boy is gold, pure gold.
I just may do that someday (and break my own heart in the process).
There was the stick poking and the look on Sam's face when he says it. Also, the whole doll thing and Dean's concern about why everyone keeps assuming they're gay. They are the best boys ever. For reals.
