What ep are you up to in BSG? And are you feeling the Helo love yet?

I hate long hair in the summer. I always want to chop it shorter and shorter, but sadly it looks terrible that way.

It is except when it apparently gives you a stomach ache (which is gone now, though, so maybe you're right).

I'm on ep eight of S1 (though shortly I will be watching more). And Helo, yeah, I'm totally feeling the Helo love (I just get distracted by the enormity of the Starbuck love and forget to mention it). I mean there's not way I could not love the guy who's walking around on a post-apocalyptic planet. omg. plus just, yeah. I can feel that I'm going to like him even more once I get to know more. Everything about this show is so intriguing and anticipatory it makes my skin itch.

I had my hair long for years and years, but the more I cut my hair the more I want to cut my hair (and thankfully it actually looks better that way).

4. The more BSG I watch the more I like it really really fucking LOVE it. Starbuck is the best female character EVER.

I have had a mighty resistance to watching the new BSG, as I was deeply in love with the cheesy original... and the original Starbuck in particular. Also, I saw the first episode on a day that I was suffering an intense case of "My god, is everything about sex these days?" So the whole revamped Cylon thing really turned me off. *sigh* Must give it a try some day. I hear it has the gritty, alone-in-the-universe sort of atmosphere that I yearn for in SPN, so that alone might be worth it.

What is your advice? Should I give it a try?
