Oh Lord. Uhm. You listed all the ones I'd list. *grins* Although if I had to pick, say, 4, it'd be "Pilot", "Faith", "Hell House", and "Provenance".

OR you could just show them the fanvid intro to "Salvation".

If you're tyring to suck someone in, I'd got with the Pilot [because that lays it all out], Skin, Home, Asylum, Faith, Nightmare, and Hell House. The best episodes and the most character-centric. Save for Hell House which is just too damn funy to pass up.

Oh, Home, right. damn. But the others (& I think she's seen the Pilot so..). Hell House and Faith are definitely on the list now. The more I watch Hell House the more it makes me laugh.

Depends if you're trying to sell or trying to induct in the fandom: because, for the latter, you'll need the Pilot. Then you can launch into the others. :)

Others; Hell House, Scarecrow, Faith. Then probably Provenance or Asylum. Gives you silly/brothers; creepy/tension; and the bloke from Hush.

I'd leave out Bugs, because it's the crappest episode of the season; and Skin, because eh. If you don't flip out over shirtless Dean, it's also a fairly weak episode - I'm basing this purely on my own opinion for rewatchability. It's better to watch when you have a feel for the characters, imho.

It's better when you've seen everythign else, but not that great. & It's not the shirtless Dean that gets me about Skin it's the tying up and the fighting but, yeah. If you're not me then maybe that's not so great. *g*

Bloody Mary, The Benders and Something Wicked were all ones that sucked my mother in. The ones with character development (Dean in SWK OMG) and a half-decent plot, which was a bit of a rarity in the first half of the season. I haven't seen anything past SWK, though, what with the UK scheduling.
