Posting

Posting the meme the other day was a real reminder how I've abandoned my LJ. I had to go back almost two years to find a post that actually had enough content to copy and paste. It's not that I don't still read LJ, since I do, pretty much every day. But between one thing and another, it's been occasionally tough to find the energy to write anything ( Read more... )

Ah, reading your entry has reminded me of when I got my new passport a few weeks ago! I've become fat (relatively), bald (relatively), and goateed (absolutely). My girlfriend said that I look hot in my old passport photo; I think I look much, much younger than I felt when I got the photo taken.

You've inspired me to write my own LJ entry on my passport thoughts. Thank you for sharing yours.

And it has been a real pleasure knowing you, too! :-)

I know, right? I thought I was so grown up when I was 18... and now I look back at what a kid I was. :-) And I don't even feel all that grown up now, really. Go figure!

me too. I just sent my passport in to get it renewed before the fees went up. Lots of fun stamps in there--reminded me of all the good times the past decade has brought!

I'm on LJ maybe once a week, but the wedding blog's more where I am these days. Maybe i should x-post? Probably not since everyone's followed me there, mostly. :)

Miss you!

Good to hear that you're doing well! And looking forward to hearing more from you again.

Aah, both my drivers license and passport pictures are getting quite old. I don't get many double-glances on them... but I should put that to the test more often in the next ten years by going more places.

I find that statement particularly funny given your recent post with before and after make-up pictures. :-) No one gives that a second look in clubs and bars? (not that they really care all that much, so long as the id looks semi-legal, I'm sure).

I actually didn't have to get a new license photo when it came time to renew. California just reused my old one, which I was really happy about, since it's an unusually good picture. I look remarkably tan (god knows why...I wasn't), and happy.

But yes, more travel in the next 10 years for all!
