Parrish has chatted briefly with Elton, appreciated the younger man's enthusiasm and kindness, but quickly made himself scarce as there's only so much of bright shiny goodness Parrish can take in one sitting. He's dressed as Han Solo and will be making himself well acquainted with the colorful drinks that hopefully have alcohol in them.

Sirius finally looked around at costumes after he finished his mischief and spied Parrish with a colorful drink. Well that was too good of an opportunity to pass up! "You're that bloke from the Star Wars movies, aren't you?"

((A manly skirt! I was half expecting him to appear as Old Gregg. XD))

Parrish turns to glance at Sirius, and then again, before grabbing for a plate of these adorable coffin shaped cakes. A seemingly harmless decoration grabs his wrist and his drink goes flying. Luckily he jumps away from it but... Well, he's glad Sirius wasn't wearing a white shirt. He puts his empty drink down and the cake is gone from the plate two. But the stupid hand is still holding his wrist. He glances back to the party, seeing several people look away from him. His scream wasn't that high pitched was it?

"And I thought Elton was too nice a guy... Yes, I'm dressed as Han Solo. Sorry about... your chest."

Parrish frowns and wrestles the hand from his wrist, but gives up when it won't budge. He grabs a few napkins to help clean Sirius off with.

((haha, now if George had lost the bet he'd have dressed up as Old Gregg!))

Sirius laughs, mostly at the girlish scream but also because the whole scene was just too good not to. He was no stranger to getting a drink poured on him in these situations, so the sudden splash of cold liquid across his chest didn't even phase him.

After wiping up the worst of the liquid (he would clean it properly later with a quick spell), he grinned. "Looks like you're not Han Solo anymore since got an extra hand." To make the pun even worse he pronounced 'hand' as 'Han'd.

Having been to plenty of balls and plenty of parties in the Enchanted Forest, Snow was well verse in party etiquette. However, Halloween was something of a foreign concept. She's come as a fairy, however real they were in her world.

"Snow!" Excalibur is extraordinarily pleased to see her at the party because she hasn't seen her in such a long time. "Your costume is beautiful!"

"Excalibur! You look darling!" Snow grinned looking her dress and pigtails over. She patted the little toy dog's head and though the costume was mostly lost on her, some farmer's daughter with enchanted shoes, she guessed, she was glad to see Excalibur as always. "I've never been to a party quiet like this. I suppose you haven't either. Other than those in the Nexus?"

"Thank you," she smiled brightly at her friend. "Even in the Nexus I never went to a Halloween party because it was always the same night as the Samhain feast that Morgana would host every year, and since it was one of the rare times I could celebrate something from home I didn't want to miss it."

Excalibur skips in dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, complete with red shoes and a basket with a small stuffed dog inside. Happy to be at a party, even if it is not the tradition where she is from, she looks around for anyone she recognizes.

"Having fun?" Arthur spoke from behind her after a while and brushed his hand over his fake mustache. Round glasses were perched on his nose, dressed as John Lennon in the Sargent Pepper era style. He carefully sipped the drink in his hand, not wanting his mustache to touch it.

His voice made Excalibur turn around quickly, the hand with her glass in it behind her back, and burst into giggles. "What are you wearing, Arthur?!"

"I'm John Lennon from the Sargent Pepper album. What are you hiding, Excalibur?" Arthur raised an eyebrow, giving her the chance to come clean before becoming cross with her.

So Sirius lost a bet to George Weasley and ended up wearing a skirt to the Halloween party, but he made certain it was a manly skirt! Muggle Halloween parties always make him chuckle, so don't mind him over near the food table as he's charming decorative creepy hands to actually grab people when they go for treats. It isn't Halloween if there aren't tricks to go along with them!

Maybe because he misses him, maybe because he's hoping Tegan might show up, Turlough's come dressed at his Doctor. Cricket whites, beige jacket, decorative vegetable and all.

"Sirius! Glad to see you made it... Too many others still unaccounted for."

"Good to see you as well, my friend," Sirius clapped him lightly on the shoulder. "George Weasley and I popped up a few months back, though I guess a lot of you had been here for a while before that..."

"Not too long. Strange how it's such a small town yet we never ran into each other during that time. I had started giving up on seeing anyone else from the Nexus again," Turlough reaches for a chocolate covered cherry on a toothpick.

Castiel knew what Halloween was, but it's whole concept was easily lost on him. The costume part, definitely. How was he supposed to know? Clothing really was something beyond him. He'd been wearing the same outfit for the past four to five years. So he paused at the door, leaning in slightly to look for a familiar face.

"Hi!" Elton waved, making a bee line to the new face and sticking out his hand for Castiel to shake. "I'm Elton. I threw the party? Doin' alright? Nice detective outfit. Love the jacket."

Somewhat startled, but not to the point it showed, Castiel turned to look at this new person. He looked down for a moment at his clothes, right, detective. He'd done that before. Not very well... but... "Thank you." He nodded a couple times, before looking around. "It's very...big." Yeah. Social skills. Angels had none. Castiel's never developed at all, or that's probably what most people would say. Still, he knew what an outstretched hand meant, and he turned, lifting both to cup the man's hand. "I'm Castiel."

The hand shake in return was a little more... intimate than Elton expected. Some people were just like that. Elton shook Castiel's hand, trying not to feel a bit awkward.

"Castiel, that Celtic or somethin'? Yeah, we should start a weird names club." Elton smiled. "Not a bad place though, issit? I mean, the folks are a little weird, but it seems like a nice place to live, right?"
