As for duck, the belief is that the score of 0 looks like a duck's egg ...

but, like, a 0 also looks like eggs laid by every other egg laying animal. including snakes and frogs. so why, specifically, a duck? im afriad that the only explanation is that cricket inventors were crazy...

seriously, you can't go wrong with cricket. It's harmless, relaxed, casual ... and possibly the only sport (besides golf) where you don't actually have to pay attention when you watch it!

it's a picture of a board with a game of othello/reversi in progress - you have lost to me a number of times before at it.

that *particular* picture was taken in michigan when i was visiting my friend Annie. I won that game too :p
