Gahhhh. I wonder when his second book of poetry will come.

Detail of the Woods

I looked at all the trees and didn't know what to do.

A box made out of leaves.
What else was in the woods? A heart, closing. Nevertheless.

If all my friends always brought one book of poetry in their purse as they go out, what would each of them bring/why? :))

Agreed, I really hope he makes another book sometimes. And that quote from your lit professor is lovely - god, it would be so awesome if this man's poetry was ever discussed in any of my lit classes. Haha.

I love the quiet of Detail of the Woods. Anyway, which I read on his website a few weeks ago, is a little bit more difficult for me to appreciate - I feel like there's more noise around the lines that sing (of course, the lines that sing inevitably break my heart).
