:( This just seems stupid. Resumes won't tell you much. I've reviewed resumes that were flashy with big names, etc. The musicians STILL sucked at their auditions. Then if there's a search committee (in the case fr conductors and professors), you've just spent time and money flying these people in to audition. You then can't even afford to look at the people you rejected before, and have to choose the lesser of two evils musically. It's really crappy.

Auditions should never be about what's on the paper, but about how you sound and perform. Good grief. Maybe they'll get a crappy person for the job.

Do you have a demo?

Nah, no demo. I can't afford to have one made. It wouldn't have helped for this band in any case, because they weren't accepting tapes or anything like that, just resumes ( ... )

I don't want to sound harsh saying this- I say that because it can sometimes be hard trying to tell how somebody is trying to come off on the Internet. But here's what I want to say: I think- excuse me- know that you are at a very low point with all this work... crap. I don't know if you've prayed about it at all but that's what I'm going to suggest. Don't get annoyed at me because my parents always ask me "have you prayed about it?" and I get all annoyed... (that's not a very good reason to be telling you not to get annoyed, but whatever, I know what response you might be feeling, anyway). I want to suggest that you give up this whole situation to God. Stop struggling with this and ask God to take care of it. Even if the end result may not be what you have in mind now.
I don't know what exactly you'll say to this advice but I hope it helps. I know only one person can help you with your life and that's Him. There's really no excuse to asking God for help except for pride because it's not that hard.
